Painted from a vantage point overlooking Tasman Bay, this work examines the transition in atmospheric light and colour over each hour in a twenty-four hour period. One of the twenty-four moulded panels was painted every hour creating a direct visual reference to the artist's experience and observation of the passing hours.
As a whole this work takes on a striking form suggestive of the geometry of nature and its Pacific location.
