Painted from a vantage point overlooking Tasman Bay, this work examines the transition in atmospheric light and colour over a seven day period in the full moon phase of the lunar cycle. One of the moulded panels was painted each day, creating a direct visual reference to the artist's experience and observation of the passing days.
Underlying this is the artist's intention to establish a discussion about the 'time-poor' nature of contemporary existence and our constructed sense of time, versus the continual transitions inherent in the earth's natural rhythms.
